Banned 67 Plates
Quite a few plates have been banned by the DVLA this year as they apparently crossed the line and may cause offence or upset on the roads…

2024 update
We never did look at those funny 2019 numberplates….until now….a few examples include:

2021 release
CO21 ONA, CO21 VD, COV 11D, COV 111D, AND CO21 RNA (nobody needs to be reminded about COVID!) as well as LE21 ZZA, MU21 DER, BA21 STD, and GB21 EDL.
2022 release
MU22 DER, MU22 GED, UK22 WAR, KN22 FE, BL22 JOB, BU22 GER, BU22 SHT, PE22 VRT, and PU22 SSY
2023 release
AS73 HOL, BU73 SHT, AH73 OMO, LE73 ZZA, FK73 VAJ, NO73 JOB, BO73 OCK and EA73 DCK
Risky, But Not Banned Plates
Surprisingly there are a few plates with some obvious connotations that have slipped the DVLA net (they meet twice a year to update the ban list with any plates may break the rules).
Examples of these include:
- TO62 POT (although TO62 SER is banned!)
- BR54 STS
- AR62 END
- LO62 ERS
- W13 RDO
- B11 XOM
Other great number plates that are both not-banned and available to buy include:
